In a commendable display of generosity, the local community from Lakhani, Bhandara and Mahal, Nagpur has rallied behind AIIMS Nagpur to support the noble cause of body donation for medical research and education. AIIMS is known for its ground breaking contribution to health care, showcasing the community’s commitment to advancing medical knowledge. On 31^st Dec 2023 Anatomy Department, AIIMS Nagpur has received body donation from the family of late Nurachand Pakhamode, Lakhani, Bhandara who worked in health department and already willed for body donation. This shows significant shift in the mind set of community.

On 2^nd Jan 2024 Anatomy Department, AIIMS Nagpur has received another body donation from the family of late Kishor Gomkale, Mahal, Nagpur. AIIMS Nagpur expresses gratitude to concerned families for making this invaluable contribution and encourages continued support for the noble cause.
