Department of Ophthalmology has conducted a Diabetic Retinopathy screening camp on 14^th November 2023 on the occasion of world diabetes day. The program was attended by the Deputy Director Admin Mr. Vijay Kumar Nayak, Dean (Academics) Dr Mrunal Phatak, Medical Superintendent Dr. Manish Shrigiriwar and Financial Adviser Mr. Binod Kumar Agarwal

The screening of retinopathy in diabetic patients was done. The awareness talk was given by DDA, Dean Academics, MS, FA, and HoD Ophthalmology Dr Puja Bang. The screening was organized & performed by Retina Specialists Dr. Vandana Iyer (Assistant Professor), and Dr. Shraddha Pawar (Senior Resident). This event explained the importance of screening of retina in Diabetic patients. Healthy snacks were distributed to the patients thereafter.
