The Department of ENT, AIIMS Nagpur conducted “Vidarbha-level inter-collegiate UG ENT Quiz Competition” on 9th October 2022. It was organized in association with Association of Otolaryngologists of India, Vidarbha Chapter. A total of 11 medical colleges of Vidarbha region of Maharashtra participated in the competition held at Auditorium of AIIMS Nagpur. All the heads of ENT departments of these medical colleges and their undergraduate and postgraduate students attended the event. The teams and audience were welcomed by the President of AOI Vidarbha, Dr Deepak Sawalakhe. Dr Disha Methwani, Chairman, Scientific Cimmittee, AOI Vidarbha, was the master of ceremony for the event. The quiz was conducted by the Quiz-master Dr Shrikrishna B H, Additional Professor of ENT of AIIMS Nagpur. Dr Vijay Bidkar and his team did the score-keeping task. Dr Kiran Kumar Prathipati of AIIMS Nagpur managed the task of time-keeping for the quiz. Dr Sandeep Dabhekar of AIIMS Nagpur was in-charge of the arrangements at the venue. Janhavi Lakhani, Toshani Gupta and Prajwal Umale of  Indira Gandhi Government Medical College, Nagpur won the winner’s trophy. Rohini Ugale, Ameya Men and Arohi Kadam of NKP Salve Institute of Medical Sciences won the trophy for first runner-up. Meet Kothari, Sumant Warhokar and Rachita Bhowal from Government Medical College Akola won the trophy for second runner-up. The Secretary of AOI Vidarbha chapter, Dr Samir Thakre expressed Vote of Thanks to all. Dr Sonali Khadakkar, treasurer of AOI Vidarbha and all senior members of AOI Vidarbha including Dr Jeevan Vedi, Dr Vivek Harkare, Dr Shailesh Kothalkar, Dr Surendra Gawarle, Dr Nitin Deosthale, Dr Rajendra Deshmukh, Dr Sameer Chowdhari, Dr Vipin Ikhar, Dr Rameshwar Pawar, Dr Gaurav Agrawal, Dr Kanchan Dhote, Dr Kanchan Tadke and Dr Sanika Kalambe attended the event and cheered the participants. Audience round of questions were well responded by the audience and the rightly answering audience were also rewarded with surprise gifts. The event was well appreciated by all the delegates as a memorable learning experience. The event was successfully conducted under the guidance of Director & CEO Maj Gen (Dr) Vibha Dutta, SM, Dr Mrunal Phatak, Dean (academics) and Officiating Medical Superintendent Dr. Manish Shrigiriwar.
