• UHTC: The department of Community Medicine has an urban field practice area catering to a population of around 80,000. In line with the MoU signed with Nagpur Municipal Corporation, the department supports the primary care activities of Nandanvan Urban Health Training Centre, Nagpur. The department is involved in delivering outpatient care, conducting outreach camps, providing specialist care for maternal and child health issues, running a stress clinic, capacity building of frontline health workers & community-based organisations, raising health awareness in the community, implementing the healthy school initiative, etc.
• RHTC: Similarly, the Department runs the rural health training centre with a field practice area catering to 21000 population spread across 36 villages at Bela, Nagpur. The department provides outpatient care and monitors the implementation of national programs in the field practice area.

Adult Vaccination Centre: The department runs an adult vaccination centre s and envisages expanding the services for various other adult immunisation centre such as Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre
