Joshi MD (Medicine), MSc (Clinical Epidemiology, UNC Australia), is a medical teacher par excellence, outstanding researcher, astute physician, and an able administrator with 40 years of teaching experience. He was Professor and Head of Department of General Medicine at AIIMS, Nagpur (2019- 2023); Indira Gandhi Govt Medical College, Nagpur (2008-2019) and Officer on Special Duty to Executive Director, AIIMS Nagpur (2023).

With his strategic vision, a wealth of experience, and steadfast commitment to innovation, Dr. Prashant P. Joshi is poised to lead the institute towards excellence in clinical care, medical education, research, and administration - the foundational pillars of medical governance.
