AIIMS Nagpur will proudly commemorate it’s 6th Foundation Day on October 8, 2024, marking another year of remarkable achievements in healthcare, education, research, and community service. Since its establishment in 2018, AIIMS Nagpur has rapidly emerged as a premier healthcare centre in the region.

The event will be graced by the august presence of Hon. Shri Prataprao Jadhav, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, as the Chief Guest, accompanied by Padmashri Dr. Vikas Mahatme, President, AIIMS Nagpur; Dr (Prof.) Prashant P.Joshi, Executive Director and CEO, AIIMS Nagpur. Other distinguished dignitaries include Members of Parliament, Loksabha; Shri Shyamkumar Daulat Barve and Shri Anup Sanjay Dhotre; Members of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, Dr. Ajeet Madhavrao Gopchade; and CEO & Managing Director of Right Health, UAE, Dr. Sanjay Paithankar as esteemed Guests of Honour.

The Foundation Day celebrations will begin with addresses by distinguished dignitaries, who will reflect on the notable milestones of AIIMS Nagpur and its crucial role in advancing healthcare. The event will also feature the release of the students' magazine, a showcase of the creativity and accomplishments of the student body. A medal distribution ceremony will follow, recognizing the academic excellence of outstanding MBBS students. Additionally, keynote addresses by distinguished guests will outline the vision for the future of the institution.
