About Ayush

Ayush basically comprises Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Naturopathy, Siddha, Sowa Rigpa, and Homoeopathy which are traditional systems of Indian medicine

Among these Ayurveda is a pillar of them. It has both a preventive and curative type of approach towards any kind of disease. Word Ayurveda itself defines the study of life. It emphasizes not only on medicine and surgery but also on proper Aahar, Vihar, Dincharya, Rutucharya, Sadvrutta Palan which help to keep the disease away. It is based on a certain Siddhant like Tridosh Siddhant.  

OPD of Ayush (Ayurveda) started from 17 March 2024 at AIIMS Nagpur. Its vision is to provide good and sustainable health to people by using different modalities described in various Ayurvedic Samhitas and Granthas. Here counselling regarding Dincharya, Rutucharya, Achaar Rasayana and Trayopstambha, Sadvritta palan is carried out. Shatkarma procedures like Neti, Nauli etc are done as per various disease conditions. Swarnaprashan and Garbha Sanskar are conducted which are necessary for healthy progeny and maternal care. Different Yogic procedures like Aasan & pranayama are taught to patients to maintain health and fast recovery of disease. Integrated treatment of diseases is also carried out by using principles of Ayurveda and Allopathy. This integrated approach aims to provide excellent results in a quick span of time. Panchakarma unit has started with different Panchkarma facilities.
