Department Of Urology and Renal transplant was established in July 2022 in OPD building, AIIMS Nagpur. The department provides a whole range of comprehensive and efficient services for the management of urological problems. With our complete range of state-of-the- art facilities, the department performs minimally invasive procedures for stone diseases, Endo-urology, female urology, complex urological reconstructive procedures. Uro-oncology, Renal Transplant. First Live Related Renal Transplant and Deceased Donation renal transplant were performed in June 2023.

The department of Urology has 15 bedded indoor facility (expandable) at 4th floor of IPD Building. The department has dedicated modular operation theatres in operation theater complex with a dedicated minor OT in OPD block.
In near future plan is to start ESWL, Urodynamic Study, USG guided intervention and Robotic Urology services.
