1.National Cancer Awareness Day-2021

Department of Radiotherapy, AIIMS Nagpur organized a variety of programmes on the occasion of National Cancer Awareness Day-2021 on 8th November which included  a poster competition for AIIMS staff and Student on theme “Cancer and Lifestyle”, Cancer Awareness Live Quiz for Public and distribution of cancer awareness pamphlet to the public.  

2.Swaraksha Rakshabandhan 2024

With an aim to improve the psychological wellbeing of cancer fighters, Rakshbandhan was celebrated under ‘Ankur’ at Department of Radiation Oncology, AIIMS, Nagpur. Rakhis were made by the cancer fighters (Cancer patients. their family caregiver and treating team). Patients and family members shared their experience of the day. We appeal the NGOs and volunteers to come up to boost the morale of cancer fighter and contribute to the noble cause.

3.Yoga session for cancer fighters

Regular Yoga sessions under the supervision of a trained Yoga teacher are conducted for the cancer fighters.

4.Breast cancer awareness month: October-2024

 Pinktober, October month is celebrated as a Breast Cancer Awareness Month. As a part of this various activities were conducted by AIIMS, Nagpur.
