Our department deals with the management of complicated type 2 Diabetes, Type 1 diabetes, Young onset diabetes, Pediatric Endocrine disorders like Short stature, Pubertal disorders, Children with Diabetes, Calcium disorders, recurrent fractures, Rickets and Thyroid disorders. Adrenal disorders (adrenal tumors, cushing`s syndrome), Endocrine causes of Hypertension (young onset hypertension and refractory hypertension due to Primary hyperaldosteronism, pheochromocytoma), disorders concerning Bone and Mineral metabolism (Vitamin D deficiency, Osteoporosis, recurrent pathological fractures, Hyperparathyroidism),  Pituitary disorders (Low or higher production pituitary hormones, tumors of Pituitary gland), early and premature menopause and Polycystic ovarian syndrome are managed at Endocrine clinic.

Scope of services/Currently available services:

Department of Endocrinology has been started on 1^st July, 2023 at AIIMS, Nagpur. We are providing Endocrine OPD services to the patients. We are providing Diabetic educational material like Glucose monitoring chart, Diet chart, Insulin technique and the management of hypoglycemia in regional language for better patient care. We are equipped in doing dynamic hormonal tests like ACTH Stimulation test, 72 hour fasting test, Growth hormone stimulation test, LHRH stimulation test etc. We are providing services for pubertal induction in both boys and girls in those with delayed puberty after thorough evaluation.
