About the Department of Cardio-Thoracic and Vascular Surgery – AIIMS Nagpur

The Department of Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery at AIIMS Nagpur is a super-specialty unit dedicated to the surgical treatment of heart, thoracic, and vascular disorders. This advanced field of surgery deals with surgical management of coronary artery disease-bypass surgery, cardiac valve pathology, congenital pediatric and adult cardiac anomaly, peripheral vascular disease, Lung Pathologies, chest trauma and its management.

Cardio-Thoracic & Vascular Surgery, Established in July 2022, the department is located in the OPD Building and currently provides comprehensive services including:
