Currently, the department has the following facilities

• Pre anaesthesia check-up OPD: For optimizing and preparing the patient for any surgery/procedure.
• OT: The department is running 10 state of the art modular OTs at present, catering to different elective and emergency procedures in General surgery, Orthopaedics, Obstetrics and gynaecology, ENT and ophthalmology and superspecialties such as Paediatric surgery, Plastic surgery, Surgical gastroenterology, Urology, neurosurgery,trauma surgery and surgical oncology.
• Non-operating room anaesthesia: Currently non-operating room anaesthesia services are being provided for CT, MRI, ECT (electroconvulsive therapy) and FFA in ophthalmology.
• Emergency services round the clock.
• Postoperative acute pain services.
• Central sterile supplies department.
• LMO, PSA plants & the Medical gas pipeline system.
• SICU: The surgical ICU is catering to the care of sick surgical patients perioperatively and their optimization. Currently the SICU is 10-bedded.
