The celebration of World Plastic Surgery Day at AIIMS Nagpur, took place on the 13th, 14th, and 15th of July.
This significant event showcased the advancements and expertise in plastic surgery, particularly focusing on rhinoplasty (nose job).
On the 13th, we conducted an operative workshop on rhinoplasty (nose job), benefitting many patients who sought our care. The following day, the 14th, witnessed a Continuing Medical Education (CME) session dedicated to rhinoplasty (nose job), with the participation of esteemed national faculties. This program brought together over 60 plastic and ENT surgeons from Vidarbha, highlighting a collaborative effort towards excellence in healthcare.
I extend my deepest gratitude to the Department of Burn and Plastic Surgery, led by Dr. Dhananjay V Nakade, and the Department of ENT, under the guidance of Dr. Vijay Bidkar, for their wholehearted involvement in making this event a success.
Dr. Prashant P Joshi, the CEO and Executive Director of AIIMS Nagpur, inaugurated this ceremony, ushering in a new chapter of innovation and compassion in plastic surgery at our institution.
With Dr. Joshi's able guidance, the Burns and Plastic Surgery department at AIIMS continues to offer a wide range of services to our patients, including cosmetic surgeries such as rhinoplasty, facial rejuvenation, scar revision, and various body contouring procedures. Our commitment to providing comprehensive care extends to acute burns, post-burn deformities, reconstructive surgeries, and a spectrum of specialized treatments ranging from microvascular procedures to non-healing wound management.
