AIIMS Nagpur Achieves Landmark 550 Joint Replacements under the MJPJAY & PMJAY Schemes
AIIMS Nagpur has successfully completed 550 joint replacement surgeries in the past three years, bringing mobility and renewed hope to hundreds of patients. This remarkable milestone has been achieved under the Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Jan Arogya Yojana (MJPJAY) and Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY) schemes, ensuring free treatment for economically weaker sections of society.
The Department of Orthopaedics at AIIMS Nagpur has been at the forefront of advanced joint replacement surgeries, performing total knee replacement (TKR), total hip replacement (THR) and shoulder joint replacement procedures with high success rates and patient satisfaction.
