On 11th  Apr 2026, the College of Nursing, AIIMS Nagpur, in collaboration with TNAI Vidarbha region, hosted an Intercollegiate Quiz competition as part of celebrations of the International Nurses Day 2026, with the theme "Our Nurses. Our Future. Empowered Nurses Save Lives", with 13 nursing colleges from the Vidarbha region participating.

Prof. Dr. Prashant P. Joshi, Executive Director, AIIMS Nagpur, inaugurated the event, with Dr Rajini Peter, Professor cum Principal College of Nursing, and Dr. Sarika Rokade, President, TNAI Vidarbha region, gracing the occasion. Prof. Dr. Prashant P Joshi highlighted the significance of nurses in bringing quality patient care and the need for such academic activities for the budding nurses.

College of Nursing, AIIMS Nagpur secured 1st Prize; [Anugraha Tom Prasad (4th Year) and Samvrita Sunil (2nd Year)], VSPM Madhuri Bhai Deshmukh Nursing College, 2nd Prize and Bhausaheb Mulak Nursing College 3rd Prize in the competition.
