Yantra India Limited Extends CSR Support to AIIMS Nagpur for Strengthening Surgical Gastroenterology, Complex Hepato-Pancreatic-Biliary Surgery and Liver Transplant Services
Nagpur, March 18, 2026: Yantra India Limited (YIL), Nagpur, Maharashtra, and All India Institute of Medical Sciences Nagpur (AIIMS Nagpur) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to provide Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) support for strengthening Surgical Gastroenterology, Complex Hepato-Pancreatic-Biliary Surgery, and Liver Transplant Services at AIIMS Nagpur.
As part of this initiative, Yantra India Limited will extend CSR support of approximately ₹1.35 crore towards procurement of advanced medical equipment at AIIMS Nagpur to enhance surgical precision and improve patient outcomes. The equipment will facilitate safe, accurate, and high-quality treatment for patients suffering from complex liver, pancreatic, and biliary diseases.
The MoU was exchanged in the presence of Prof. Dr. Prashant P. Joshi, Executive Director, and Dr. Nilesh Nagdeve, Medical Superintendent, AIIMS Nagpur. The CSR initiative was facilitated and coordinated by Dr. Nitin Marathe, Joint Medical Superintendent and CSR Nodal Officer, AIIMS Nagpur, in collaboration with Yantra Institute of Technology and Management, represented by Executive Director Shri Shishir Khare and Shri Pradeep Kumar Singh, Assistant Works Manager, along with other officials from AIIMS Nagpur. Dr. Nirjhar Raj, In-charge, Department of Surgical Gastroenterology, AIIMS Nagpur, was also present.
This initiative marks a significant step towards the establishment of a comprehensive Liver Transplant Program at AIIMS Nagpur, aimed at serving the Vidarbha region. The program is expected to make advanced liver care and transplant services more accessible and affordable for the population of Central India.
The collaboration reflects the commitment of Yantra India Limited towards contributing to public healthcare through its CSR initiatives and reinforces the efforts of AIIMS Nagpur in delivering state-of-the-art, patient-centric tertiary care services.
