Disability Certificate For NEET UG Counseling 

 

  • AIIMS Nagpur is designated Disability Centre for issuing the certificate of Disability for NEET 
    • Locomotor Disability
    • Visual Impairment
    • Speech and Language Disability 
    • Disability due to Blood Disorders.
  • The candidates should report to hospital registration counter of OPD for assessment by Disability Board, AIIMS Nagpur on Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays) between 0900 and 1300hrs and on Saturday between 0900 and 1100hrs.
  • Candidate must carry original copy of following documents for verification by the certifying authorities along with two set of attested photocopies. The candidate will be referred for assessment only if document verification is completed satisfactorily. 
    • UDID certificate
    • Government disability certificate
    • NEET score card
    • Std 10th and 12th passing certificate
    • Aadhar Card
    • Any other relevant medical documents.
  • The candidates should carry 2 passport size photographs. 
  • The candidates can collect the certificates from Disability Board, AIIMS Nagpur on Monday-Friday (excluding Public Holidays) between 4pm and 5pm after completion of assessment including investigation if necessary.

1. Question: How many disabilities it covers at AIIMS Nagpur?

Answer: At present, AIIMS Nagpur is issuing UDID/disability certificate to locomotor disability, visual impairment, speech and language and disability due to blood disorder.

2. Question: How to get UDID or disability certificate?

Answer: Person with Disabilities is required to register with the UDID portal. Once registered, after the login is complete, they will be able to apply online for Disability Certificate and UDID card. 
After login, the Person with Disabilities will be referred to designated Specialist/Medical board for disability assessment and once the assessment is over, the assessment details are submitted and Disability Certificate/UDID Card will be issued electronically. Automating Disability Certificate/UDID Card issue process will significantly reduce the time and timely delivery of the Disability Certificate/UDID Card assured.
Person with Disabilities will also be able to track the status of their application. They can put forward their request for renewal of Disability Certificate/UDID Card and also request for another card in case of loss of their UDID Card. They can also download and print the copy of their respective Disability Certificate/UDID Card.

3. Question: What are the documents/identity proofs required to register for UDID portal?

Answer: Any one document among the following document list is essential for UDID

  • Aadhar card
  • Driving Licence
  • PAN card
  • Ration card
  • Voter ID

Person with Disabilities is requested to produce original identity card at the time of verification at aIIMS Nagpur.

 

4. Question: What are the days and time for assessment at AIIMS Nagpur?
Answer: Monday, Wednesday and Friday – 9.00 am to 2.00 pm

 

5. Question: How much time it takes to complete assessment process at AIIMS Nagpur?
Answer: Approximately 1 to 2 days. In certain cases, depending upon investigations advised by concerned specialist doctor, time may vary from 5 to 10 days.
