27th Annual ISNACC Conference Held at AIIMS Nagpur

The 27th Annual Conference of the Indian Society of Neuroanaesthesiology and Critical Care (ISNACC 2026) was held at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Nagpur, and was attended by over 350 delegates. This academic event brought together leading clinicians, academicians, and researchers in the field of neuroanaesthesiology, neurocritical care, and allied neurosciences from all over India and overseas. The theme of the conference was “Brain, Bots and Beyond: Forging Neuroanaesthesia for Tomorrow”

The conference was inaugurated by the Chief Patron and Chief Guest Dr Prashant P Joshi Executive Director, AIIMS Nagpur who highlighted the importance of advanced neurosciences and critical care in strengthening healthcare delivery. He appreciated ISNACC for its sustained efforts in promoting academic excellence, innovation, and professional collaboration.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Dr Rasika Gadkari, Dean Academics, AIIMS Nagpur and the office bearers of ISNACC, including Dr. Pragati Ganjoo, PresidentDr. M. Radhakrishnan, Honorary Secretary, and Dr. K. Sriganesh, Treasurer, who reiterated the society’s vision of advancing neuroanaesthesia and neurocritical care through education, research, and multidisciplinary engagement.

Prior to the main conference, seven pre-conference workshops were conducted at AIIMS Nagpur, offering hands-on training and focused academic sessions in various subspecialties of neuroanaesthesia and neurocritical care. These workshops coordinated by Dr. Revanth Challa witnessed enthusiastic participation and were highly appreciated by the delegates.

The Organizing Committee, led by Organising Chairperson Dr. Gajanan Chavan and Organising Secretary Dr. Ashutosh Kumar, Co Organising secretary Dr. Priya Thappa, Dr. Chayanika Kutum and Treasurer and Scientific coordinator Dr. Mangesh Mulaokar expressed sincere gratitude to the ISNACC leadership, AIIMS Nagpur administration, faculty members, delegates, and sponsors for their wholehearted support. They noted that hosting ISNACC 2026 marked a significant milestone for AIIMS Nagpur and for the region.

ISNACC 2026 featured an extensive scientific programme comprising keynote lectures, orations, panel discussions, paper presentations, and interactive sessions, fostering academic exchange and professional networking. A Cultural night showcased the rich culture of Maharashtra via various performances by Soham Kalavishkar and a musical by “Antarang Divyangyachi” performed by specially-abled artists. The successful conduct of the 27th Annual ISNACC Conference at AIIMS Nagpur reinforced the institute’s position as an emerging center of excellence in neurosciences and critical care.
