World Breastfeeding Week 2025

World Breastfeeding Week 2025 with the theme “Prioritize Breastfeeding: Create Sustainable Support System” was organized by College of Nursing, Department of Pediatrics and Neonatology at AIIMS Nagpur from 1st to 7th August 2025. Events started with a nukkad natak, and QA session held at Pediatric OPD, inaugurated by the Executive Director, Prof. (Dr.) PP Joshi. Special counselling sessions and poster exhibition along with group teaching at various OPD, IPD areas, were organized to highlight the importance of breastfeeding among all stakeholders.'

A breastfeeding quiz for MBBS, BSc H Nursing students and Interns was held. Ms. Nikita Saini and Ms. Anugraha Tom Prasad, 2022 batch BSc H Nursing and Ms. Vaidehi Loya and Mr. Rajesh Sisodia MBBS interns won first and second prize in the quiz respectively.
