AIIMS Nagpur Hosts Training Module on Comprehensive Hemophilia Care on World Hemophilia Day Under the Department of Clinical Hematology

Nagpur, April 16, 2026 — On the occasion of World Hemophilia Day, the Department of Clinical Hematology, AIIMS Nagpur, in collaboration with the Hematology Day Care Centre, Daga Hospital, organized a training program on “Comprehensive Care in Hemophilia.”

The session was inaugurated by Dr. (Prof.) Prashant P. Joshi, Executive Director & CEO, AIIMS Nagpur, who emphasized early diagnosis and a multidisciplinary approach to improve patient outcomes.

Expert sessions by Dr. Sanjay Deshmukh, Dr. Syed Taha, Dr. Vishvdeep Khushoo, and Dr. Archit Pandharipande covered clinical features, diagnostics, modern treatment protocols, and emerging non-factor therapies.
The event was supported by Dr. Nilesh Nagdeve, Dr. Meenakshi Girish, and Dr. Sunita Kumbhalkar, and attended by healthcare professionals. Organizers reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening hemophilia care and awareness in the region.
