OTH Ceremony of BSC Honours Nursing 2024 Batch

The Oath ceremony of fourth batch (2024) BSc Honours Nursing students of College of Nursing, AIIMS Nagpur was held on 12th December 2024. Dr. T. Dileep Kumar President, Indian Nursing Council was the Chief Guest. The ceremony began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the chief guest, Prof. Dr PP Joshi (Executive Director & CEO), Dr Mrunal Phatak, Dean Academics, Dr Ganesh Dakhle, Dean examinations, Dr Pradeep Deshmukh, Dean Research, Dr Seema Parvekar, Medical Superintendent, Deputy Director (administration), Sh. Vijay Kumar Nayak, and Dr. Rajini Peter, Professor cum Principal College of Nursing. Drs. Rajini Peter, Sushma Oommen, Abin Varghese, and Latika Bajaj, senior nursing faculty, lighted students’ nightingale lamps and Dr Peter administered the oath.

The Executive Director and Dr. Dileep Kumar both urged students to uphold their pledge, pursue excellence in their knowledge and abilities, and develop compassion. Students of batches 2021, 2022, and 2023 received awards for both clinical and academic achievement. Special awards for Most Promising Student, Outstanding Team Leader, and Compassionate Care Champion were given to Ms. Bhavya, Ms. Lakshya, and Ms. Suhana of the 2021 batch, respectively.
